Hidden away in the shadows and sexual underside of Washington DC and Manhattan two outwardly successful women who are use to and like being someone’s dirty little secret find the one thing neither of them was looking for, Love. The story is set where so many people live their lives, at restaurants and bars, offices and modes of transportation. Mixed between social engagements and deviant passionate acts.

Wealth and worldly possessions can hide many things including an openly promiscuous and deviant lifestyle which is only kind that Nadrea has ever lived. She worries about her appearance, she obsesses about every little thing including her lover’s but nothing of real substance and expects to be in control and everything to be exactly her way.

Men and women swoon, her beauty, her demeanor and the sexuality she exudes, it is not how she is defined but more importantly how she defines herself. Vincent is the one man who she can not seem to place under her spell.

Love has never been simple especially when you think that someone to love or more importantly to love you back doesn’t exist. Perhaps it’s because you’re hiding from who you once were or maybe because you have never felt loved yourself, by anyone. Love has been nothing more than a word or an unattainable ideal.

The First Three Minutes of Eternity

Written by Michael Malflic

Malflic’s second full length novel tempts fate and conventional beliefs with haunting tale dealing with the the things we all pretend to be in love, life perception and faith, and the things we truly are. His typical strong imagery and real world settings add to the allure, the mystery and characters that everyone will feel like they already know. It will be available online and as always the audio version will be available first and for free audio late fall 2008.

Images in My Mind and a Series of Illicit Conversations

A Collection of works by Michael Malflic

Simply put this is where it all began in 2005 during a dry spell both professionally and musically I decided to write stories instead of songs. The anger of my youth had given way to anger at the business world. The lover of my youth who broke my heart so throughly had long ago been out of my life completely and in fact I was and had been madly in love with the Chesty Blonde for for well over a decade.

So who wanted to hear a guy in his 30’s screaming about a broken heart from so long ago, his tax bracket, his hatred of the corporate world and the suburban German car driving night mare he had become set to distorted guitars and a sinister drum beat? No one. Since then I’ve penned a few songs, recorded a few others but what you’ll read here on this blog isn’t my most current writing, it’s not an exploration of novel length fiction. It’s not sexually charged stories or about made up political canidates running for president. It is the crudely written (meaning that I’ve not edited or corrected it in anyway from the original form), funny and painfully true look into my life, my surroundings and my own twisted beliefs during that period.

Most of it has never been seen before, some of it probably shouldn’t be seen now but visit the blog on this site to read it.
If nothing else it proved I’m more than just another empty suit. I’m another empty suit with questionable morals and a wicked sense of humor who despite it all might still have a soul. Well that and it should be good for a few laughs.
